Step 12
Déjà vu…

Nothing major to report except part K4 was broken and I had to find the broken piece.

The two wings have now been completed.

I did some touch-ups on the interior even if it won’t show. At least I will know I did.

Next time, going back to steps 7 and 8 with the gun turrets and trying to fix step 8.

How many bits do you need to mount the aileron? 😀

Pieces, Parts, thingys 😀

5 tiny parts plus upper and lower ailerons = 7 bits X 2 wings = 14 parts. They could have settled for 4 parts. Too many parts.

Or they could have just moulded them into the wings? 😀

I am not complaining.

Course you’re not – we’re modellers, complaining about the kit is part of the hobby 😀

Overall fit is quite good although some parts don’t fit well… turrets!

You know – asides from an old tool Defiant, I’ve never actually built an aircraft with turrets!

Nice! But I built the old tool version with a resin replacement nose – it’s about a third of the way down the page.

I clean it when I start a new model kit, then all hell breaks loose!
