Post 309 – Monogram 1/48 scale PBY-5 Catalina – Mating the fuselage – Part 2

The time has finally come… The control wheels were painted black as well as the tires on Wednesday.

I will follow the same procedure I have used with the He 111. I will be mating the fuselage halves in sections.

I will go first with the front section and then let everything dry rock solid.

I just couldn’t wait.

While I am waiting for everything to dry rock solid I will be checking out my Monogram B-26 which was bought in the late 70s.

    How many planes, Pierre, do you typically have under construction at any given time?

      Only two. The He 111 and the PBY.
